Linda Nosková advanced to the third round of the 2026 US Open on Wednesday, beating Thailand's Lanlana Tararudee 6-4, 6-2.
The win pushed the sixth seed's Grand Slam streak to nine consecutive matches. That run traces back to her Wimbledon title earlier this summer, and it marks her second straight year reaching this stage in New York.

Nosková took control early at Louis Armstrong Stadium, finishing with 25 winners and seven aces over 78 minutes.
Tararudee, ranked No. 76, was making her US Open main-draw debut after a breakout year with two WTA 125 titles. But the 22-year-old from Thailand couldn't sustain her first-set push once Nosková found her rhythm in the second.
"I think I got my energy going from start to end," Nosková said.
Her 2026 Grand Slam numbers keep climbing. She now has 11 major match wins this season, a career best. Her 88 aces across the year's Slams also lead all players on tour.
Up next, she faces No. 29 seed Ann Li for a spot in the round of 16. The two met on tour earlier this year, with Nosková taking their second-round clash in three sets.
