Liudmila Samsonova, ranked 106th, pulled off a major upset to win the German Open on Sunday.

Samsonova’s incredible run included wins over tennis heavyweights Victoria Azarenka and Madison Keys and culminated in a 1-6, 6-1, 6-3 win over Belinda Bencic to claim the championship.

The 22-year-old Russian’s stellar performance earned her a wild card invitation to Wimbledon, which begins later this month.
