Kayla McBride knocked down a WNBA record 10 3-pointers on Sunday, scoring a career-high 43 points to send the Minnesota Lynx past the Dallas Wings, 103-90. The Lynx vs Wings result at Target Center also punched Minnesota's playoff ticket, making them the first team to lock in a berth this year.

The 13-year veteran hit 10 of her 14 attempts from deep and connected on 16 of 21 shots overall. Her record-breaker fell with 2:23 to play in the fourth.
Target Center rose to its feet as she cleared the nine-three ceiling, a mark Kelsey Mitchell first reached in 2019. Only seven others, including Marina Mabrey and Rhyne Howard this season, achieved that previous record.
"When it's going down, it's going down," McBride said postgame. "There is no better feeling."
Rookie point guard Olivia Miles orchestrated the night. She added 20 points and a season-best 13 assists. McBride buried 8 of 9 looks created by Miles' passes.
Napheesa Collier, back from offseason ankle surgery, also chipped in 17 points. With the her whole team healthy, McBride said she's even more sure of her choice to stay with her home team.
"You know I've been in this league 13 years, and choosing to come back here in the offseason, I didn't know, we didn't know what it was going to look like," McBride continued. "Moments like this, times like this, it's when you know you made the right decision."
What's Next for the Minnesota Lynx?
At 27-7, Minnesota now sits within reach of the franchise's single-season wins mark. This latest victory marked their 12th in 13 games. The Lynx next travel to face the Portland Fire on Wednesday, tipping off at 10 PM ET on WNBA League Pass.
