Manchester City clawed back after falling behind in the first half to beat Liverpool 4-2 in Women's Super League action on Friday. Lauren Hemp was at the center of the turnaround, opening the scoring early and then striking again in stoppage time to finish off the win.

Hemp found the net first, converting a Carlotta Wamser feed in the 13th minute. Liverpool, however, answered within minutes. Midfielders Fuka Nagano and Natalia Ramos took control of possession, with Alice Bergstrom equalizing in the 19th minute. Vivien Endemann then gave the visitors a 2-1 lead just a few minutes minutes later.
But Man City refused to trail for long. Khadija "Bunny" Shaw converted in first-half stoppage time to level the WSL match score at 2-2. After the break, substitutes Sam Coffey, Aoba Fujino, and Kerstin Casparij helped swing the momentum in City's favor.
Manchester's second-half control eventually paid off when a Grace Clinton cross led to an own goal in the 90th minute, restoring City's lead. Hemp then added her second deep in added time to cap the comeback.

The win brings Manchester City to three straight victories — the WSL's only remaining perfect record this season. Liverpool's women's side dropped to seventh after suffering its first defeat of the year.
