It’s back to the drawing board for Minnesota Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve.

Forward Natalie Achonwa and guard Aerial Powers will both be out indefinitely following Saturday night’s 80-64 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks.

Achonwa has an MCL sprain in her right knee while an MRI confirmed that Powers has a tear of the ulnar collateral ligament in her right thumb, the team announced Monday.

Powers has averaged 10 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists in four games this season.

Meanwhile Achonwa has appeared in eight games, averaging 3.8 points and 2.1 rebounds.

After a rough start to the season, the Lynx have bounced back and put together a three-game winning streak following the return of Napheesa Collier. Currently, they are 4-5 with a game against the Sky tonight at 9 p.m. ET.
