UConn associate head coach Chris Dailey had to receive medical attention ahead of the team’s Sunday matchup after she appeared to faint following the national anthem.

Dailey was helped onto a stretcher before being taken off of the floor. She waved to the crowd as she was carried out.

UConn players looked visibly shaken up and returned to the locker room. Both UConn’s Geno Auriemma and NC State’s Wes Moore consulted with officials, with an extra 10 minutes added to the teams’ warm-ups.

There has not been an update given on Dailey’s condition.

The Huskies have faced a multitude of trials to begin the season, with both Paige Bueckers and Ice Brady out for the season. The team announced on Saturday that Dorka Juhász is out for at least three games due to a broken thumb.
