UConn forward Dorka Juhàsz will miss the next three games – and possibly more – after suffering a broken thumb in the team’s Monday win over Texas.
The broken thumb occurred on the same hand that she suffered a broken wrist during the Elite Eight in March.

This is the fourth injury an already-depleted UConn team is suffering, with Paige Bueckers & Ice Brady out for the season, Caroline Ducharme not 100% back (neck stiffness)
It’s the latest in a long line of injuries for the Huskies, who will now play with just eight fully healthy players against No. 10 NC State on Sunday. Juhàsz will not play in the Phil Knight Legacy Tournament, which features Duke, No. 4 Iowa and Oregon State.
Juhàsz has started in the first two games of the season, averaging 10.0 points and 10.0 rebounds in 33.5 minutes. She joins former player of the year Paige Bueckers (ACL) and freshman Ice Brady (dislocated patella) on the injured list. Both Bueckers and Brady are out for the season.
Caroline Ducharme has seen limited minutes due to neck stiffness.
With the loss, UConn is now down to just four players who can rotate the frontcourt: junior Aaliyah Edwards, senior Aubrey Griffin, freshman Ayanna Patterson and sophomore Amari DeBerry.
