Averaging 292,000 per game, the 2026 season delivered the network’s highest viewership since 2009 — up 78% over 2025 while a record 10 matchups topped 500,000 viewers.
Reigning champion Texas drove significant ratings, drawing a season-high 725,000 viewers against Georgia last month.
Momentum continued into conference tournaments, as the Big 12 and ACC saw record championship audiences while the powerhouse SEC scored its most-watched final since 2015.
Alabama’s SEC title win over Texas averaged 847,000 viewers. The turnout set a new postseason high mark, as teams gear up for this week’s Super Regionals.
