Nebraska women's volleyball soft-opened its 2026 NCAA season Sunday before 10,753 fans at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The top-ranked Huskers mixed rosters for their annual Red-White Scrimmage, with Red edging White 3-1 for the win.

Teraya Sigler and Virginia Adriano led all players with 11 kills each. Sigler tacked on 10 digs, while Adriano added four blocks. Meanwhile, Manaia Ogbechie anchored the net with a match-high 13 blocks and six kills. Behind them, setter Bergen Reilly steered the offense with 37 assists and 13 digs.
The scrimmage opens a season heavy with expectation. A veteran senior class, anchored by Reilly, is chasing the program's first national title since 2017.

Next up on the Nebraska women's volleyball schedule is a marquee showcase.
The Huskers face No. 17 Florida on Thursday, Aug. 27th in the inaugural Spikes Under the Lights. First serve is at 8 PM ET on TNT, live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The tournament is the first women's collegiate competition ever staged at the Dallas Cowboys stadium, and the event carries a $1 million prize purse, marking the largest in women's college sports.
