No. 2 Stanford spoiled No. 22 Colorado’s 13-game undefeated streak, downing the Buffaloes 60-52 on Friday.
The Cardinal got off to a slow start, committing 13 turnovers in the first quarter to give Colorado an opening lead of 15-8. Tightening the contest to 28-24 at half, Stanford started to play their way into the game, outscoring the Buffaloes 19-11 in the fourth quarter to seal the come-from-behind victory.

Haley Jones led Stanford with 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists, while Cameron Brink and Ashten Prechtel each contributed 10 points.
The Cardinal outrebounded Colorado 46-to-21 as the Buffaloes also struggled to sink baskets, shooting 29.8 percent from the field and 14.8 percent from beyond the arc.
Once the last undefeated team in women’s basketball team, Colorado now falls to 13-1, while Stanford improves to 12-3.
