“We bounced back, which we’ve done really well all year,” North Texas coach Rodney DeLong said. “I’ve said all weekend this group is resilient.”
Skylar Savage threw a three-hit shutout with seven strikeouts to secure the 3-0 win over the Huskers.
North Texas will take on Oklahoma State in the regional championship at 4 p.m. ET Sunday.
