Washington Spirit midfielder Jordan Baggett is at home and resting after being stretchered off the field in the Challenge Cup final, according to an update the Washington Spirit provided Wednesday.

Baggett reportedly was discharged from the hospital Saturday following a collision with Courage striker Debinha in the second half of the game, a 2-1 loss for the Spirit.

One of three players to go down with an injury Saturday, Baggett was taken to the hospital in an ambulance and was “under evaluation.” Spirit owner Michele Kang reportedly traveled with Baggett to the hospital.

Following the news that Baggett had been released, Courage coach Sean Nahas offered up his well wishes.

“This is great news to hear,” he wrote. “Wishing for a full recovery soon Jordan.”

The nature and severity of Baggett’s injury remain unknown.
