The book will detail Coyne Schofield’s journey to becoming one of the greatest hockey players of all time. The 29-year-old forward has won six World Championship gold medals during her career with Team USA. She’ll look to win her second Olympic gold medal when the U.S. heads to Beijing to compete in the Winter Games in February.
Many athletes congratulated the star on Twitter, with U.S. teammate Chelsey Goldberg calling her a “great teammate, better person!”

Tennis legend Billie Jean King, who wrote the foreword for the book, also commended Coyne Schofield on the release.

Meanwhile, Coyne Schofield’s husband and current Los Angeles Chargers offensive guard, Michael Schofield, called himself “lucky enough” to have been present for many of her accomplishments.
