Paige Bueckers sat out the Dallas Wings' 99-98 overtime loss to the New York Liberty on Monday after suffering a scary head injury in a collision the night before.
The guard went down late in Sunday's 90-82 win over LA colliding with Sparks star Nneka Ogwumike on a foul. Bueckers hit the back of her head on the court with just over three minutes left in the game, and subsequently departed for the locker room.

Fortunately, the injury wasn't as severe as the fall looked.
Dallas confirmed she cleared an extensive postgame evaluation and does not have a concussion. She's not in the league's concussion protocol, either. But lingering soreness was enough to keep her out of the Wings' latest meeting with New York.
Without Bueckers, Dallas had to lean on Arike Ogunbowale and a reshuffled starting five. It was not enough to extend the team's six-game winning streak, a franchise record.
Bueckers has been averaging 20.9 points, 6.2 assists, and 4.2 rebounds this season. She was also selected to start Saturday's WNBA All-Star Game.
For now, her availability remains uncertain. Dallas plays at Portland on Wednesday before the break, but the Wings have not announced a timeline for her return.
