In his place Mario Sanchez, the head of Soccer Holdings’ Youth Academy System, will serve as interim head coach until Louisville finds Holly’s replacement. Sanchez has been with Louisville’s parent company, Soccer Holdings, since 2019.
Holly was hired by Racing Louisville in August of 2020. He previously was the coach at Sky Blue FC for a year and eight months before stepping down in August of 2017.
In their inaugural season, Louisville has amassed a 4-4-8 record and are currently ninth in the NWSL standings.
