With the season halfway through, Racing Louisville sits at second in attendance.
According to Soccer Stadium Digest, Louisville has seen an average of 6,289 fans come out to games. That number ranks second to only the Portland Thorns, who have seen an average of 15,321 fans come out to games so far this season.
It’s not a bad start for one of just two professional sports teams in the city.
In their first season, Kansas City FC has also been seeing good attendance numbers, ranking fourth in the league with an average of 4,898 fans.
Naturally, there has been a dip in average attendance from 2019 as several teams began the season with limited capacity in their stadiums. Additionally, not all teams have released attendance for every single game.
