Sam Kerr is now Australia’s all-time leading goal scorer

Sam Kerr is now a Matildas legend.

With her goal to equalize against the USWNT in Thursday’s bronze medal match, Kerr now is the all-time leading goal scorer for Australia with 48 goals.

Kerr has had quite the Olympics, including late-game heroics against England to send Australia to their first-ever Olympic semifinal.

She was one that the USWNT undoubtedly had their eye on throughout the tournament, having scored six of Australia’s 11 goals.
