The post-Olympic Gold Over America Tour will feature Simone Biles once again competing in front of fans.
The 35-city exhibition will kick off in Tucson, Arizona on Sept. 21 and incorporate both gymnastics and dance elements. Former UCLA gymnast Katelyn Ohashi will also lead a segment detailing the importance of taking care of your mental health.
It’s something that is at the forefront of gymnastics after Biles withdrew from Olympic competition due to a mental block.
“I wouldn’t change anything for the world,” Biles said a few days ago. “I gave an outlet for athletes to speak up about their mental health and their well-being and learn that you can put yourself [as a person] first before the athlete.”
Now Biles will be back in action, reuniting with her Olympic teammates — including the new additions of Grace McCallum and Jade Carey.
TEAM REUNION. I’m thrilled to announce the addition of Grace and Jade! Can’t wait to hang with my squad again SOON! Get info and tickets at https://t.co/QIklCiS0a2
