Stefanie Dolson is returning to the Washington Mystics, signing a two-year deal with the team, according to the Washington Post.
Dolson, a two-time WNBA All-Star and WNBA champion, spent the first three years of her career in Washington. She was drafted sixth overall by the team in 2014 after winning two national championships at UConn.
As of Wednesday, contract details were still being finalized.
The 32-year-old was a free agent this offseason after spending the last two years with the New York Liberty, helping the team to the WNBA Finals in 2023 as a reserve.
The move comes as the Mystics are attempting to retool this offseason. They lost Natasha Cloud to Phoenix, while Elena Delle Donne is reportedly taking a step away from basketball and will not be playing in 2024.
