The StudBudz are back for another WNBA All-Star Weekend takeover.
Former Minnesota teammates Natisha Hiedeman and Courtney Williams launched their livestream Thursday afternoon from Chicago, where the WNBA All-Star Game tips off Saturday at United Center. More than 7,000 fans tuned in right away.
The Twitch concept mirrors last year's breakout broadcast in Indianapolis, promising 72 straight hours of unfiltered access around WNBA All-Star weekend. This time, though, the pair landed a sponsorship from AT&T, and subsequently ditched their trademark pink hair for blue to rep the telecommunications giant.
But corporate sponsorship hasn't yet censored the StudBudz.
WNBA All-Star Game Cameos Highlight StudBudz Livestream
The two started the livestream by stocking up on bottles and calling on fellow players to swing by their hotel. Marina Mabrey committed after a chance run-in downstairs, while A'ja Wilson also came through.
Both hosts have on-court obligations, too. Hiedeman, a Seattle Storm guard, will compete in Friday's 3-Point Contest. Williams, still a Lynx mainstay, earned her third All-Star nod this season.
The StudBudz first went viral last summer after livestreaming every chaotic moment of All-Star Weekend. At one point, they ordered a scooter off DoorDash just to tear through hotel hallways. Of cours, this year's content is already off to a similarly action-packed start.
