Jackie Young, A'ja Wilson's 3rd Quarter Surge Powers Aces Lead
The game was tied at the break, but the second half belonged entirely to Las Vegas. The Aces combined for 16 consecutive points in the third quarter, turning a one-point edge into a runaway lead. By the start of the fourth, the Aces were up 22, and Young was already resting on the bench.
A'ja Wilson added 20 points in her franchise-record 302nd game. Off the bench, Cheyenne Parker-Tyus posted a season-best 18 points and nine rebounds, while Las Vegas outrebounded Connecticut 40-23 overall. The Aces also converted 19 Sun turnovers into 28 points, sealing the blowout.
Thursday's Sun vs Aces matchup was the last regular-season meeting between the two clubs before Connecticut relocates to Houston in 2027. For the Sun, now 9-26, it extended a difficult run marked by their eighth loss in 10 games.
