Sydney Leroux is on a tear.

The Pride striker has been stretching defenses all season long, and Orlando’s Wednesday afternoon game against Kansas City was no exception.

After going down 1-0 to Kansas City at the end of the first half, Leroux mobilized, equalizing the game just before the break. Striding down the flank, Leroux cut inside to beat her defender and slip the ball near post past Abby Smith. The moment of individual brilliance equalized the game 1-1 going into halftime.

Leroux didn’t waste much time upon returning to the pitch, scoring again in the 48th minute. This time Leroux teed up her defender at the top of the box before blasting a banger into the far post for the go-ahead goal.

The icing on the cake for Orlando came in the 85th minute, when Marta cheekily chipped the Kansas City keeper from midfield to make the game 3-1.

With their 3-1 win over Kansas City, the Pride remain unbeaten and at the top of the NWSL standings.
