Team Bauer Hockey off to hot start in PWHPA Secret Dream Gap Tour

Team Bauer hockey is off to a hot start so far in the Canadian leg of the PWHP Secret Dream Gap Tour.

Back-to-back games didn’t phase the team, as they beat Team Sonnet Insurance 3-2 

Monday saw Marie-Philip Poulin score the Budweiser Goal of the Game with a short-handed shot that put Bauer Hockey up 3-1 and earned them an additional point in the standings.

Bauer then reset for a second game against Team Scotiabank Hockey on Tuesday, demolishing them 6-1. Scotiabank’s only goal of the game came early on in the first when Sarah Potomak netted one to tie the game.

Team Bauer would go on to score four goals in the third period and put the game out of reach for Scotiabank.

Bauer’s two wins put them at a pretty good place in the standings with six points, leaving Scotiabank and Sonnet each looking for their first win, and their first points, against one another in Wednesday afternoon’s game at 5 p.m. ET.
