Jaelin Kauf dazzled in the women’s mogul final Sunday, clinching Team USA’s second silver medal of the Beijing Games.

The 25-year-old scored an 80.28, bested only by Jakara Anthony of Australia, who notched an 83.09 to capture gold.

Anthony sealed gold in the last run of the night, finishing with a backflip with a grab at the bottom. The 23-year-old’s first-place finish is the first time an Aussie won the moguls Olympic competition since Dale Begg-Smith took home gold at the 2006 Turin Games.

Russia’s Anastasiia Smirnova rounded out the event’s podium, taking home bronze after Sunday’s final, while Team USA’s Olivia Giaccio finished the moguls event in sixth place in her Olympic debut.
