The Texas Tech women’s basketball team is cashing in on the wide world of name, image and likeness. Each player will receive $25,000 as part of a deal with Level 13 Agency, the NIL-focused sports marketing and management company announced Thursday.

The NIL deal is believed to be the largest of its kind in women’s basketball, per Front Office Sports. Level 13 Agency is based in Lubbock, the home of Texas Tech.

“When I say Lubbock, West Texas & Texas Tech love their Lady Raider Basketball, I speak the truth,” Texas Tech coach Krista Gerlich tweeted. “Historic day for our program! I am so proud to be a Red Raider!”

The Level 13 Agency also will work to connect players with other NIL deals, local radio station KKAM reported.
