U.S. Open requiring fans to show proof of vaccination

Spectators will have to show proof of vaccination to attend the U.S. Open.

The tournament announced the new COVID-19 protocols on Friday, just days before the competition’s Monday kickoff.

The New York-based event will be at 100 percent capacity this year after a fan-less contest in 2020.
