USSF president Cindy Parlow Cone: “We definitely plan on bidding” to host either 2027 or 2031 Women’s World Cup.
The news comes after FIFA announced 16 host cities across the United States, Canada and Mexico as joint hosts of the men’s 2026 World Cup.
Germany, Belgium and Holland have made an official joint bid to host the 2027 tournament, while Chile and a group of Nordic countries have shown interest in submitting bids.
The last time the United States hosted a Women’s World Cup was 2003, with matches played across the country.
