The U.S. women’s national team is rolling into the 2023 World Cup with a new kit, according to leaked images of what appears to be the team’s Nike home jersey.
Nike, the apparel sponsor of U.S. Soccer, typically designs and unveils new kits for the U.S. every World Cup cycle. The company and U.S. Soccer signed a new long-term agreement in 2021 that went into effect at the beginning of this year.
For the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand this summer, the USWNT is in line to receive one exclusive kit.

Button, good details
Crest where it should be
Collar
The pattern is so close to being amazing, but want to see these in person and on a real human before I fully judge. But mostly I think these will grow on people. https://t.co/wjYWroAKRd
The white home jersey depicted in the illustration is speckled with blue dots and accentuated with gold details, including the Nike swoosh and four stars above the U.S. crest. The stars represent the number of World Cup titles the USWNT has won, making them the most successful team in international women’s soccer.
The USWNT wrapped up their 2022 schedule in the same Nike kits the U.S. men’s team wore for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The jerseys featured the U.S. crest in the middle, crowding it next to the FIFA world championship badge, and received mixed reviews from fans.
In addition to the new white kit, the U.S. would appear to be keeping the 2022 blue uniform as their away kit for this year’s World Cup.
The USWNT began its World Cup preparations with a trip to New Zealand last week for two friendlies against the host country. The team overcame a slow start to win both games, 4-0 and 5-0, setting the stage for the SheBelieves Cup hosted by the U.S. in February.
