For Miedema, it’s a club record that included no penalties.
With Miedema’s contract set to expire over the summer, manager Jonas Eidevall said after the game that the club is ready to discuss a contract extension whenever the forward is ready.
“Nobody is trying to hide that we would like Viv to stay on,” Eidevall told reporters. “But I understand from Viv’s perspective, what kind of player she is, it’s important for her to see what the direction the club is going [in]. For her, when the time is right, [she will] take a decision about her future.”
