WNBA 3-Point Contest demand has flipped the script on All-Star weekend. Get-in tickets for Friday's contest and Shooting Stars (previously called the Skills Challenge) on July 24 sit at $110 on TicketData, edging out the WNBA All-Star Game at $105 the following night.
Why WNBA 3-Point Contest Tickets Cost More Than the All-Star Game
The gap comes down to venue size. Friday's events take place at Wintrust Arena, which holds roughly 10,500 fans. Saturday's WNBA All-Star Game moves to the United Center, where capacity tops 20,000.
Still, both price points represent a sharp climb from last year. In 2025, Friday night tickets in Indianapolis started at $25 and dropped to $12 on game day.
SeatGeek reports that order volume for 2026 WNBA All-Star is also up 53% compared to last year, which is nine times higher than when Chicago last hosted a WNBA All-Star game in 2022.
Even with the surge, the weekend remains a relative bargain for sports fans. MLB All-Star tickets reached four figures this season, and NBA All-Star entry prices routinely start around $600. For a fraction of that cost, Chicago fans can watch the league's best names on one floor.

The WNBA 3-Point Contest airs on July 24th at 8 PM ET on ESPN. Then, the WNBA All-Star 2026 game will tip off on July 25th at 8:30 PM ET, live on ABC.
