The WNBA Draft is returning to an in-person event, with the league’s 26th annual draft to be held on April 11 at Spring Studios in New York City.

The 2022 WNBA Draft will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. ET on ESPN.

“With the continued support of ESPN, our draft presenting partner State Farm and associate partners, Beats by Dre, SAP, and U.S. Bank, we look forward to what will be a truly memorable evening for WNBA teams and fans and, of course, for the elite athletes for whom this night will mark the realization of a dream come true and the launch of the next phase of their basketball journey,” said WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert.

“The WNBA continues to build momentum for the future of the league. And what better way to ramp up the momentum for the tip-off of our 26th season, than with WNBA Draft 2022 presented by State Farm on April 11.”

Additionally, the WNBA will be launching “Draft Central” later this month, which will give fans access to an interactive Draft Board, prospect profiles, features on the top prospects and coverage of all draft events.

Additionally, content centered around the draft will be featured on WNBA social media channels, including live coverage of the “Orange Carpet” and a mock draft debate on Twitter.

The Washington Mystics are set to pick first while the Indiana Fever have three of the top six picks. The Fever recently traded away Teaira McCowan in exchange for the fourth and sixth pick in this year’s draft.

Michigan State’s Nia Clouden declared for the draft on Wednesday and is expected to be a top pick.
