Sabrina Ionescu’s long-range 3-pointers are becoming a bit of a habit — though sometimes, she surprises even herself with her daring shots.

Take, for example, her 3-pointer from near the New York Liberty’s midcourt logo during Tuesday’s 88-69 win against the Minnesota Lynx.

“Like, why did I shoot that?” Ionescu said when asked what she was thinking about after that shot. “Sometimes I just wonder.

“Like, it does not look that far to me when I shoot it. And then after, everyone’s like, ‘Wow, you just shot from the logo,’ and I’m like, ‘I guess I really did.’”

The third-year guard went 4-of-4 from 3-point range and 10-of-11 from the field Tuesday. She finished with a game-high 26 points. For the season, she is shooting 37.8 percent from beyond the arc.

Her willingness to shoot from deep has stood out. Check out just a few more examples from the season so far, starting with this one from June 3 against the Washington Mystics.

Another one came against the Indiana Fever on June 1.

She’s been firing off these shots all season, starting way back with the Liberty’s season opener against the Connecticut Sun on May 7.
