Nike unveiled its 2026 WNBA Rebel jersey line on Thursday, introducing a new uniform collection showcasing all 15 teams' unique identities and local culture.
The new jerseys join Nike's existing Heroine Edition and Explorer Edition uniforms as the league's third option. Each team worked with Nike to create designs that reflect the market's specific energy, values, and community impact. The uniforms subsequently emphasize players' confidence, self-expression, and spirit while elevating the game's cultural influence.
"Each Rebel uniform is an opportunity to bring the team's identity into sharper focus and let their energy speak in a new way on court," said Nike Senior Manager & Designer for Basketball Apparel Katie West.
"It's a privilege to translate what makes each team distinct into something players can wear with confidence and fans can feel connected to."
The launch represents Nike's continued investment in the WNBA via the pair's long-term partnership. The company focuses on illuminating the competitive nature of women's basketball, while celebrating players both on and off the court.
The Rebel jerseys add another layer to that story, from established teams like the New York Liberty and Atlanta Dream to 2026 expansion teams Toronto Tempo and Portland Fire.
