Just like their teams’ shots, the WNBA does. not. miss.
New jerseys for the 2021 season dropped on Thursday in celebration of the 25th anniversary season. The league partnered up with Nike, with 3 game uniform editions for each team.

Each of the 12 teams has chosen designs and colors specific to their city, with feedback coming from players and league insights that helped in not just the design but the fit as well. Another important thing to note is that player numbers will be returning to the front of the jerseys.
The drop includes a third jersey, titled the Rebel Edition, in addition to the Heroine Edition (home) and Explorer Edition (away) uniforms.
Rebel Edition uniforms are inspired by city-specific themes. The Indiana Fever have chosen a “Stranger Things” theme for their jerseys, paying homage to the show’s being set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. The Dallas Wings’ jersey pays homage to the World War II P-40 Warhawk, one of the more famous fighter planes manufactured in Texas that was test-flown by Women Airforce Service Pilots.
Nearly all include themes of empowering women, including the Washington Mystics’ jersey, which features the constitutional script of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote.
