Breanna Stewart has signed with the New York Liberty, leading to an era of superteams in the WNBA.

The superteams in question form a two-team race for the WNBA title, at least according to FanDuel sportsbook, which puts the Liberty and the reigning champion Las Vegas Aces are well ahead of the pack.

The Aces also have made some key free agency acquisitions, even amid off-court turmoil, signing Candace Parker for the 2023 season. Las Vegas’ title odds sit at +135.

But New York has made the biggest offseason splash as well, trading for Jonquel Jones while adding Stewart and Courtney Vandersloot to bring their odds to +165.

The Washington Mystics sit at +1100, a distant third in the race, per FanDuel.

Despite losing key players in Vandersloot, Parker and Allie Quigley, the Chicago Sky still have the fifth-best odds to win the title, tied with the Seattle Storm (+3000). The Phoenix Mercury, who likely will return free agents Brittney Griner and Diana Taurasi this season, sit fourth at +1400.
