The WTA announced Thursday a partnership with Hologic, who will become the title sponsor for the Tour. It’s the largest global sponsorship in WTA history and the first worldwide sponsorship for Hologic.

A multi-year partnership, it aims to “achieve significant progress through a shared vision of greater wellness and equality for women.”
“Hologic and the WTA come together with a collective purpose as pioneering advocates for women,” said Hologic Chairman, President, and CEO Steve MacMillan. “We are proud to stand with the WTA in its commitment to the highest integrity and values. Ultimately, our partnership allows us to jointly raise the profile of women even higher and to share the importance of early detection and treatment with women across the world.”
According to a release, the two entities are aligned on the growth of women’s tennis and the “strong brand values the WTA embodies.” As part of the partnership, Hologic will be integrated across all of the WTA’s platforms, including net signage at all tournaments and virtual advertising at WTA 1000 and 500 events. The official partner of the WTA, Hologic is now the founding partner of Hologic WTA Labs, which will focus on health innovation and research-based projects centered around female athletes.
