With two assists this season, the Pride striker leads the Golden Boot race, surpassing OL Reign’s Bethany Balcer despite being tied for goals scored. Per the NWSL’s tiebreaker scenario, Leroux is in first place based on assists, since Balcer has zero this season.
Leroux has been a driving force in Orlando’s offense all year long, finding teammates and creating unlikely chances for herself in the final third.
Leroux, 31, was directly involved in all three of Orlando’s goals during the 3-1 victory over Louisville.
