Chiney Ogwuike is expanding her television talent. After becoming one of the youngest commentators to be named a full-time NBA analyst for ESPN, the Los Angeles Sparks forward is set to join ESPN’s newest show, NBA Today.

Malika Andrews is set to host the show, which premieres October 18 on ESPN2. In addition to Ogwumike, Kendrick Perkins, Vince Carter and Zach Lowe will be joining the show.

Ogwumike has previously co-hosted the ESPN radio show Chiney & Golic Jr., becoming the first Black woman to host a national radio show for ESPN.

The show is set to replace The Jump as ESPN’s daily NBA show after host Rachel Nichols was removed from NBA coverage. Nichols’ departure came about after the New York Times published an audio recording in which Nichols suggested that then-colleague Maria Taylor had been chosen to replace her as the host of NBA Finals coverage in 2020 due to the network feeling pressure over its diversity record.

NBA Today will air Monday through Friday at 3 p.m. ET.
