The United States won six of their eight singles matches on Saturday, marching to a commanding Curtis Cup victory.
Rachel Kuehn clinched the championship for the U.S., as her mother Brenda did in the 1998 Curtis Cup. Kuehn was present in Wales to watch her daughter execute the title securing point.

The Americans bested Great Britain and Ireland with a 12½-7½ victory for an all-time series of 30-8-3.
Saturday’s victory marks America’s first championship outside of the United States since 2008 at St. Andrews.
