The WNBA returned Sunday with plenty of excitement, especially in Las Vegas.

Chelsea Gray hit a game-winning shot with less than five seconds left, and the Aces defeated the Washington Mystics 84-83 in their first game since the WNBA took a break for the Olympics.

Gray and A’ja Wilson, who is coming off of a stellar Olympic campaign, led the Aces’ 21-point comeback against Washington on Sunday afternoon.

Las Vegas entered the fourth quarter down by 14 points and outscored the Mystics 29-14 in the final period to earn the win. It was the largest fourth-quarter comeback in Aces’ franchise history.

Wilson recorded 20 points and 14 rebounds, while Gray had eight points and 11 assists to go along with her game-winning basket.

Liz Cambage, who didn’t travel to Tokyo after pulling out of the Olympics with the Australian national team, finished with 17 points Sunday, including nine in the fourth quarter. With the win, the Aces moved into first place in the WNBA standings, surpassing the Seattle Storm after their overtime loss to the Chicago Sky.

The Mystics and Aces meet again Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET.
