One of the newest WNBA teams stepped out this week, as the Toronto Tempo unveiled their debut jerseys Tuesday ahead of their inaugural 2026 season.

"Today marks another meaningful milestone on our journey to bringing Canada's first WNBA team to life," Toronto CMO Whitney Bell said in Tuesday's release. "Every detail of these uniforms is intentional."

The designs feature the team's signature Borealis Blue and Tempo Bordeaux colors, with six speed lines down the sides mirroring the Tempo's logo.

"We've created a design that brings our brand to life and represents our city, our fans, and our team," said Bell. "We cannot wait for our players — and our fans — to wear them with pride."

While the WNBA expects that Toronto will hit the court next season alongside fellow incoming franchise the Portland Fire, stagnant CBA negotiations have delayed both expansion drafts.

In the meantime, the teams are moving forward with staff hirings and the development of on- and off-court identities as they wait to build out their rosters.

PWHL fans can now own a piece of hockey history, as the third-year league unveiled a new memorabilia collection with auction site The Realest on Thursday morning.

According to a release, the partnership creates "the first-ever witness-based, fully-authenticated collection of game-used and player-sourced PWHL hockey jerseys, equipment, and one-of-a-kind artifacts."

"As we enter our third season of unprecedented growth and record-shattering fan support, it was important to preserve our league's history and share those moments with our fans," PWHL VP of merchandising Kate Boyce also added.

The debut collection features memorabilia from all six original franchises as well as the two new 2025/26 expansion teams, with fans able to bid on game-used collectables like Montréal Victoire captain Marie-Philip Poulin's game-worn 2025 PWHL Playoffs jersey, a stick from then-Boston Fleet star and now-Seattle Torrent captain Hilary Knight, and Minnesota Frost defender Natalie Buchbinder's helmet.

Additional items include 2025 PWHL Draft selection cards as well as autographed posters and pucks, among other exclusives.

"From day one, we set out to make women's sports memorabilia a true category, not an afterthought, and our record-setting work across women's leagues proves the demand," said The Realest CEO Scott Keeney.

How to score PWHL memorabilia

The PWHL collection is now open for bidding via The Realest, with all items in the league's debut auction set to close on Sunday, December 28th.

US Soccer dropped new 2025 national team jerseys on Tuesday, with the USWNT set to debut the refreshed jersey designs during their May 29th friendly against China PR.

Along with a trio of USMNT players, USWNT veterans Lynn Biyendolo, Naomi Girma, and Sophia Wilson helped design the Nike home and away jerseys.

Created for both the US women's and men's national teams, the dark "Heartbeat Kit" boasts bold red and blue vertical pinstripes in a "streetstyle" design aimed to honor the zealous US fanbase.

The "Brilliant Kit," however, is a USWNT-exclusive design.

To celebrate the USWNT’s founding 40 years ago, the "Brilliant Kit" incorporates details from iconic past US jerseys, with an overall abstract pattern of blue stars on the light-hued shirt.

"To me, the kits represent the USWNT mentality of always pushing forward," said Biyendolo in the US Soccer release

"I know I can speak for my teammates when I say that every time we put on the uniform, it brings a great sense of pride," she added. "When we represent our country, our team, and ourselves, we know we are doing so while standing on the shoulders of giants."

"The Brilliant Kit is just another way to honor our past and the women who played before us."

The "Brilliant Kit" will make its USWNT debut in a friendly against China PR in St. Paul, Minnesota, on May 31st.
