Junior FGCU guard Kierstan Bell announced Wednesday via Facebook that she will be entering the WNBA draft in April.

The news was later confirmed by Florida Gulf Coast.

Bell turns 22 this year and as a result will be eligible for the draft. Ranked as the No. 8 player in the class of 2019, she played her freshman season at Ohio State before transferring to FGCU.

Last season, Bell averaged 24.3 points and 10.6 rebounds per game en route to the ASUN conference title. In the first round of the NCAA tournament, the Eagles lost to Michigan.

Currently the team is 16-1 and are ranked at No. 24 in the AP Poll. Bell is averaging 23.4 points, good for third in the country in Division I.

Named one of Just Women’s Sports’ Top 25 returners for this season, Bell was recently named to the Wooden Award Top 25 midseason watch list.
