A new gamification platform, Gaming Society aims to make sports betting more inclusive and accessible.
In her role, Coleman will lead the business development efforts for the company, help foster strategic partnerships with sportsbooks and head up the ‘Bet on Women’ program that is a result of Gaming Society’s recent partnership with the WNBPA. The program aims to propel women’s sports forward, maximize fan engagement, develop new audiences and increase visibility for women athletes through betting and gamification.
Coleman is no stranger to the sports betting landscape. Earlier this year, she helped lawmakers in their bid to legalize sports betting in Maryland. In her efforts, she helped to make the bill more inclusive by prioritizing minority and women-led business. Additionally, she helped ensure part of the tax revenue from gambling would go toward education.
