Vivianne Miedema saved Arsenal from their first loss of the Women’s Super League season, notching an extra-time equalizer to secure a 1-1 draw against Tottenham on Saturday.
The Gunners went down 1-0 in the 65th minute, with Rachel Williams knocking in a loose ball for the lead. The Spurs were out-possessed 64 percent to 36 percent and out-shot 19 to 11 but made the most of their chances in their final third.
