The Connecticut Sun improved to 5-0 after securing a 72-65 win against the Las Vegas Aces.
DeWanna Bonner proved to be the difference-maker for the Sun, putting up 22 points and seven rebounds. Coming up clutch, Bonner sunk a three with under a minute on the clock to put the Sun up five and push the game out of reach.
Bonner has scored 20 points or more in three of Connecticut’s five games this season.

It was Connecticut’s command of the boards, however, that secured the team their fifth win of the season. The Sun outrebounded the Aces 44 to 26.
When Liz Cambage was on the court, she cut into Connecticut’s dominance around the rim. The Aces kept the Sun scoreless for six minutes in the second quarter thanks to Cambage’s defensive presence. However, two early fouls kept Cambage on the sidelines for more time than Las Vegas would have liked.
N🚫T TODAY. @ecambage
