The Golden State Valkyries handed the Los Angeles Sparks a 78-58 defeat Monday night in San Francisco, snapping a three-game winning streak for LA.

Golden State led the game from start to finish, jumping ahead to a 25-10 first-quarter advantage before carrying a 19-point cushion into halftime.
Forward Gabby Williams paced the balanced attack with a game-high 16 points, while guard Kaila Charles added 13 points, eight rebounds, and five assists off the bench. Veronica Burton contributed 12 and Cecilia Zandalasini chipped in 10 to seal the win.
The Sparks, meanwhile, shot just 33% from the field, hitting 3-of-21 3-point attempts.
Plum went 1-for-4 from deep, seven points below her previous season-low. Rae Burrell led LA with 13 off the bench as Cameron Brink added 10, and Dearica Hamby grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.
Golden State improved to 9-5 with the win while the Sparks dropped to 7-7.
