Olivia Miles added another WNBA record to her resume in Monday night's Lynx vs Storm matchup. The rookie guard posted 32 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists in Minnesota's 105-102 road win over Seattle, numbers only Candace Parker had matched as a rookie.
Miles's latest performance only added to an already strong rookie campaign.
The No. 2 pick has drawn praise from WNBA legends like Sue Bird as she emerges as the leading Rookie of the Year candidate. On the season, Miles leads the Lynx with 19.6 points and 6.0 assists per game. She's converting 50.1% from the field and 36.2% from beyond the arc.
Still, Miles wasn't working alone in Minnesota's recent matchup.

Kayla McBride and the Lynx supporting cast held steady as the Seattle Storm pushed back in the fourth quarter. McBride knocked down six 3-pointers on her way to 33 points, combining with Miles and Courtney Williams to notch 30 of Minnesota's 37 field goals.
Together, the three guards went a combined 18-of-18 from the free-throw line to extend the team's winning streak to six.
Even without Napheesa Collier, who remains sidelined with an ankle injury, the Lynx improved to 21-6 on the season and 11-2 on the road.
Meanwhile, the loss dropped the Seattle Storm further behind in the standings despite a competitive effort on their home floor. For now, Miles keeps making the case that Minnesota found something special.
