No. 1 Minnesota is playoff ready, as the Lynx became the first WNBA team to clinch a 2026 postseason berth with Sunday’s 103-90 win over No. 8 Dallas.
Kayla McBride set a single-game record for made 3-pointers in the victory, draining 10 from beyond the arc to finish with 43 points — and give 26-7 Minnesota a clear edge.
“When you have a good moment, you want to just soak it all in,” McBride said afterward. “I’m 34 years old, it’s my 13th year in the league. I’m exactly where I want to be.”
McBride isn’t the team’s only standout, as Rookie of the Year frontrunner Olivia Miles continues to insert herself into the MVP conversation after posting a 20-point, 13-assist double-double on Sunday.
Miles sits fifth in the league in efficiency metrics, leading Minnesota in both points and assists in her first professional year.
“It’s like a kid in a candy store — I’m very grateful,” McBride said of Miles. “Her ability to get in the paint and her ability in the pick and roll just creates so much for me.”
The Lynx face No. 9 Portland tomorrow at 10 PM ET (WNBA League Pass).
