Golf Canada released the full 156-player field for the 2026 CPKC Women's Open as the LPGA Tour readies to roll into Edmonton next week. This year marks the tournament's third visit to the Royal Mayfair Golf Club, with the LPGA leaderboard going up in Ontario starting August 19th.
Leading the group is world No. 1 Nelly Korda. She reclaimed the top ranking after winning the Chevron Championship in April for her third career major. Six of the current Rolex Top 10 enter alongside her, so the leaderboard should stay tight all week.
Brooke Henderson Leads Canadian LPGA Tour Representation
Defending champion Brooke Henderson anchors the 15-player Canadian contingent. The Ontario native, now 28, closed with a 4-under 67 at Mississaugua last August to edge Minjee Lee by one and capture her 14th tour title. Only Henderson and Jocelyne Bourassa, who won in 1973, have taken the national open as Canadians.
Three-time winner Lydia Ko returns as well, chasing a record fourth title, while Hyo Joo Kim, Miyu Yamashita, Ruoning Yin, Hannah Green, and Lee round out the top-ranked international entries. Additionally, amateur standout Kiara Romero is scheduled to make her pro debut on the course.
They'll all be competing for the $2.75 million purse in Canada.
