Diana Taurasi is looking ahead to 2024.
Moments after making history as the first basketball player to win five Olympic gold medals, Taurasi is already thinking about number six.
“See you in Paris,” Taurasi said, referring to the 2024 Olympics during her postgame interview on Sunday in Tokyo.

Sue Bird, who also won five gold medals as Taurasi’s teammate at the past five Olympics Games, has confirmed that Tokyo will be her last Olympics.
“I don’t think there is anybody else I’d rather do it with because we just have so much fun,” Bird said about her and Taurasi’s shared Olympic journey.
Taurasi has yet to comment on her future with Team USA but did joke that she and Bird will “probably be passing beers more than basketballs, but that’s cool with me.”
